Originally, I made this with a level of epileptic flash previously unknown to man, but that previous incarnation of your "Father's Day Card" ™ will have to remain conceptual, because my computer did not have the necessary brain power to render it! It suffered meltdown after meltdown until I consoled it by promising that I would destroy the evil file.

But I didn't, not exactly.

So this is the scaled-down, safe-to-view-sans-safety-glasses version. I guess the reason is that I got sick of always sending you those e-cards, and always having to root through the free ones because I don't have a credit card. I thought, "Hey, I could come up with something animated and absurd on my own!"

As it happens, I was just about half right on both counts. Animated? Er... sorta. Absurd? Uh... that's a nice word for what this is.

Anyway, I wish I knew where you were today! I've been trying to call you for nigh on 11 hours now and still nothing. You're probably swimming over at Jocelyn's. Damn my crippling distaste for the phone.

I just wanted to let you know that I love you, and that even though you got your present way early this year, I'm still thinking about you (and have been all day!)
